News Out Speak Out is a podcast hosted by myself, Heather Hayes. Each episode is on a predominant news topic that has occurred recently with a chance for listeners to hear people's thought of what they think. Each week I'll bring you the next big topic that has been circling around the news and talked about on social media, with conversations ranging from politics to sports and from general news to what's happening in Hollywood being debated by anyone and everyone. Heather Hayes
Host, Creator, Executive Producer and Editor
Heather has been in different fields of media for over 5 years now covering podcasting, researching and TV. In 2014 she took on a producer role at Comedy Chat. In 2016, Heather started News Out Speak Out with the help of Brenda Warren.
Brenda Warren
Executive Producer
Before helping Heather start out News Out Speak Out Podcast, Brenda was a senior producer at Awkward Life and then was on the Channel 5's Sports talk podcast team in the same role. She joined Heather in making News Out Speak Out podcast early in 2016.
Sam Cook
Producer
Before being producer at News Out Speak Out, Sam was the producer of Beesotted, Creating Comedy and Scrummy Mummies. He has received numerous awards for broadcast excellence, including one Peabody Awards.
Jonathon Gates
Co-Editor
Jonathon Gates joined News Out Speak Out as a co-editor as he contributes on different episodes alongside Heather within the podcast series. Previous editing jobs involved working predominately on different podcasts including The Nerdist and Chips with Everything.
Malcolm Masterson
Researcher
Malcolm Masterson was a researcher for both TV programmes and podcasts including Sky Sports News, talkSport, Witness and Thinking Allowed. His past achievements include being recognised for his work by the Mediatel Media Research Awards in 2013
Don Smith
Editorial Advisor
Don Smith is one of the creators of Reply All on Gimlet and is also the editorial advisor on the podcast The Magic Spoon. He is credited for being an editorial advisor on TV programmes including Undateable. Past Achievements include a British Media Award in 2012 before joining.
